Think I'll save for something else. I'd buy a GT3 if I had that kind of money to spend.

Kinda creepy buying a dead man's clothes.

I agree...yet the driving suit McQueen wore in "Lemans" went for a bundle.

OUCH !!!
I had a chance to buy a race worn signed Senna helmet for 800 bucks and thought that it was too much money, called back a couple of days later and it was gone, yes I was a fool.

i don't buy clothes there, either.

This is no different than an auction for any dead famous person. Elizabeth Taylor's things were auctioned off about 6 months ago. Lets not forget Elvis or John Lennon. If anything of theirs is being auctioned it's big news. Anyone who buys these are not going to put them on anyway. I would go on a limb and say most that would like to buy Senna's things couldn't get their bodies in it.

Exactly, this is just memorabilia for a collection. Will be put in a glass case for some rich dude to show his friends most likely. It really should go in a museum though....

Couldn't have said it better.

And I wasn't even thinking of ME wearing his suit for chrissakes. It's just the idea that once he was in it and now it's empty. And I would feel the same about Clark or McQueen, et al. However, more so about men who died suited up.
