Guess I need to start following it this year if I'm going to try to make it to the race in Austin...

Sweetness! I'm starting my masters in Motorsport Engineering at Oxford Brookes this September. It's been my "short term" goal for the last 6 years, feels great to finally get here. If all goes to plan I'll be working on a 2014 F1 car somewhere Too bad there aren't any European races after September, and since I'm getting married this summer going back to Montreal is out of question. Oh well!

Not that much farther for me. Considering how far away the next closest track is.

Love it! No matter what the never ending zany rules changes are and team drama, F1 works. The whole international scene, the aura and level of intensity makes it one of my top to follow. Rev on!

Won, congratulations on both, I owe you a PM reply, give me a few days and I'll answer all your questions and more

If you want to get into F1 you have certainly chosen the right part of the world and its not a bad area of the country to live in too.

I think you have a lot of hard work and exciting times ahead of you, hope you enjoy and good luck

Thanks Cappy! Take your time with that PM, there is no rush This is quite honestly the first time in my life I'm doing exactly what I wanted, so it shouldn't be too hard to keep myself motivated. I find it funny how I even got this far, making contacts with current and former F1 and other motorsport guys, all because I drive an old 911. I would say all the time I spent wrenching and racing when I should have been studying in undergrad wasn't wasted at all

You guys enjoy Brookes and Oxford... I loved it there...
Great place to be...and motorsport is in the life blood around here.

Plus there are three or four of the Europe's best early P-car places within a few miles...more 73RS's than you can shake a stick out when you go to visit..
