What it's all about

What it's all about....

My client taking his new-to-him 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo to Texas Motor Speedway for a multi-day driver's education course.
He had never been on the track before. Now he's hooked!

Welcome another member to the slippery slope of Porsche track addiction

You want to be a client of mine?

Or you want to be the guy that owns the car?

LOL

He's bought a bunch of cars from me and referred a few more. Although he's owned Corvettes, euro sedans, and old muscle cars, he's never owned a Porsche or a "supercar" so that was his goal. Originally he thought he wanted a used Corvette ZR1. Then he spent a day in one and it truly scared him. So then he looked at Nissan GT-Rs, Aston Martin DB9s, and then Jaguar XK-Rs. He even drove a Lamborghini Gallardo.

The 911 Turbo didn't have some of the same thrills, but it didn't have some of the same pitfalls either. So overall it was his best choice. And this particular car, with 7,500 miles, was a fantastic buy at roughly half its window sticker when new.

Now that he's tracking it, he's even happier with his choice. He's just starting his descent down the slope....
