BMW X5 With Manual Tranny
Anyone here have a manual X5?
Just wondering if you use first gear during normal daily driving. I recently purchased a 2002 with 210k miles so I'm still getting used to it. First gear is SOOOO short that I feel like it might be better to launch from second. Thoughts? |

I did not even know that the X5 was ever available with a manual trans. Are you sure it is not a conversion?

It is a manual which makes it pretty rare. That is mostly why I bought it.
Yes it has 210k miles. But it is bone dry, immaculate, runs cool, 2 owner car, meticulously maintained. Only paid $5500 for it. |

I am assuming it is an E53? Which engine? We are on our 3rd one and love them. Like the others, I never knew a manual was available. Post a few pictures when you get a chance.
