1st Annual Pelican Memorial Giveaway

Fellow Pelicans,

In my recent knife giveaway thread, it was suggested that we raffle the knife away and donate the proceeds to a children's charity (Thanks Flatbutt) and also to make the annual giveaway a memorial (Thanks Herr Oberst). The suggestions have lead to the creation of the 1st Annual Pelican Memorial Giveaway! I am currently building a knife to be given away in this drawing and Joe Bob has offered a set of side graphics as a consolation prize. Anyone that would like to donate an item for this event and who is willing to ship it out to the lucky winner will need to PM me with what the item is so that I can add it to the list. I will not place the items in a 1st prize 2nd prize etc order until we know what will end up being donated.


This year we will be honoring our recently departed Lisa_Spyder.
This year's charity will be the Shriner Children's Hospitals.

Your name will be entered once in the drawing for every $5. you donate.

I challenge you to enter your favorite Pelican's name or Posters name for every time that you enter your name as well!

I will go ahead and collect the funds for the giveaway and will insure that it is donated to the Shriners in the names of PPOT and Lisa_Spyder.

If you will be using Paypal to donate, please insure that you mark it as a gift so that no fees are charged. Paypal donations can be made to futuresoptions@rgv.rr.com

For those of you who prefer not to use Paypal, you can mail a personal check or money order for your donation. Just PM me for my address.

You can choose to reply to this thread with your intentions to donate and the amount if you wish.

I will update all of the gifts that will be donated and of the progress on the knife that I am building.

You can begin donating now and the donations will be accepted until 12-31-2011.
I will conduct the drawing on 12-31-2011 at 6pm CST

I will post further information as it becomes available!
