The world in pictures - Travel photos
Hey guys,
So I'm having a nice case of the Mondays & would like to escape for a bit. On that note, I'd like to see all the different places our Pelicans have been. I know most of us are pretty well traveled, so go ahead & post your best travel pictures & help me dream I'm not in Florida.* Just remember to put the name of the place, so we all know where it is. I don't really care if it's a cityscape or landscape. I'll kick things off with Mexico. Cabo San Lucas

I got a few. Chengdu, 2005.
 Big Sur, 2008.  Two weeks ago in Naumburg.  Two weeks ago in Salzburg.  Last week.  Monument Valley one year ago.  East Germany, July, 1989.

Gibraltar. Very cool place. When I saw it, I understood right away why it's called "the rock". It seems very out of place.

Masraum, kick ass vintage photos! I wasn't even born on when some of those were taken!!! All of mine were taken from 2006 onwards...

Escape a bit - far from Florida eh?
My wife went of a trip to the Altai Republic - area in southern Siberia near the border with China and Mongolia. part of a research team studying Snow Leopards in the wild. Walked up these suckers veryday for 2 weeks.  That's about as far from Florida as you can get.

Thanks, I guess I'm officially a not quite old but getting there fart as of Aug when I turned 40.
FL, good show. I don't think I have any pics of FL, probably because I am from there, so took it for granted. I almost forgot Aberdeen, Scotland
