Cellos Play Queen
 

Stumbled on this. Queen's "Somebodyto Love" arranged for a cello octet. If you like cello, it's very cool. No other comment, just a nice piece.

There's another piece by the same guy...and apparently he plays all parts via garageband (?), Coldplay's "the Scientist":

Well, my German hosts won't allow me watch that one, but I've seen another on Youtube by a couple guys with carbon fiber cellos...those might the ones. If so, yes, very cool.

Still a Queen but not the same Queen.

Cellos and other stinged instuments using a bow are under rated...

If you like Cellos, check out Apocalyptica. They're famous for originally covering Metallica songs, but went mainstream. Their 2007 album "Worlds Collide" is a good start, they use electric Cellos and they sound very unique.

Let's not forget these guys, whom some might say were the originators of cellos and violins in modern day rock-and-roll.
