Google Krebs spray. I've painted everything (including myself with overspray) from a VW beetle to commercial buildings. Excellent.

LOL, when I painted the beetle I ran a power cord from the house and painted it on the footpath. The finish was incredible, it looked like a brand new car. Motorists were driving past and yelling out "Paint this one next would ya Mate". Little did they know I was painting their car right there and then.

I used one on my work trailer (metal frame and expanded metal sides) and it worked great! First an application of Ospho, then Rustoleum Rusty Metal Primer, then Rustoleum. :)

How much time did you spend sanding that though?

What the others have already said times two. Two being the two I bought, used and threw away.

Your right Sid, it's all in the prep. Lots of sanding, one coat of undercoat/sealer and two coats of gloss enamel. I built this racing console for my son back in 2005, it has a few small chips in the paint but generally it doesn't look any different.

The Krebs sprayer came with a viscosity tester. It was a funnel that had to drain within a certain number of seconds. When I mixed the car paint to pour through the tester it was just perfect and the paint looked like a factory paint job. Also the correct sweep with a sprayer too. Not you waving it from left to right but moving it at an even distance from the painted surface from left to right with the correct overlap. Not difficult.
