Rain in Los Angeles!!

Yes, a big deal here. It's sprinkling here. We've had a few inches of rain in the last year. I think we normally get about 12" a year. We used to get "June Gloom" with some sprinkles, but not in the last few years.

Rain here too, had to put the top up and everything. Probably not cold enough to snow up in the mountains I bet. Spring skiing is out.

Supposed to rain here too later on tonight. Possible snow down to 4,500 ft. We've had less than 50% of our average. What we have tonight will be welcome but won't make a dent in our deficit.

Actually Toby they are getting a ton of snow right now. Much colder than they thought it would be. KCRA was at Blue Canyon and they got over a foot. Of course seeing that they are predicting 90+ degrees by Wednesday, I wouldn't imagine it will be there long but we'll take anything we can get.

i just finished installing a new drip irrigation system, because my old system plugged up with roots.

i finished yesterday under clear skies.. the first day it was supposed to go off was..yup..today. rain.

Ahh man, it isn't supposes to rain this time of the year anymore. I schedule 3 of my men to work Saturday. This includes the delivery of two trucks full of bath cabinets from the shop in the morning. Rain means no work, no delivery but they still get pay.

We are painting the living room and had a bunch of electrical wall plates and the small shelf for the center speaker outside with wet paint yesterday.

We were leaving for the Pet EXPO yesterday morning and my wife looked at the (then still somewhat wet painted items) "is it going to rain?" Me: "Uh... dunno... naw!"

Got those items in inside before sundown and rain started.

Wind blew like a mofo last night... sorry... should have got a pic of the deck chair knocked over this morning.

Brett you are right, it got pretty cold. It was 60* in my house this morning, turned the heat off weeks ago. Cleared up today, and I saw there is a Corvair show at the local Elks Lodge when I was coming home from rounding on dog chewed my toe off guy(nope, not kidding).

I gotta find my camera and get going.

Really poured in the IE last night till a little after midnight. Blew too. You shoulda seen the water coming down out of the mountains.
