Worst Rock/Folk/Country singing voices.

1. Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumkins)
2. Bob Dylan
3. Kurt Cobain
4. Courtney Love

I actually listen to all these folks from time to time.

Chad Kroeger and Eddie Vedder. Can't effin stand them.

I also think several bands were ruined by lousy singers: led zeppelin, guns and roses come to mind quickly.

Neil Young....
I really enjoy his music, but even on his best day his voice was questionable.

I must remonstrate. Robert Plant had a pretty fair 'set of pipes'. I too, did not care for some of his vocals, but he had decent range & could carry a tune unlike some guys who claimed to be singers. Personally, a lot of Zeppelin is on my playlist. Just sayin'......

Cheers

I like Zeppelin too, and no doubt he has a good range, but I don't like the tone of his voice. Maybe it's a personal preference thing, but I'd much prefer their music with a singer who had a totally different voice.

As much as I personally love Willy Nelson he wouldn't last too long on American Idol and Johny Cash would be laughed off stage like Rick Santorum for being a woman hater.

Bob Dylan. Great song writer but it should be against the law for him to be near a microphone.

Not sure between Tiny Tim and Neil Young. Both are atrocious.

At least Tiny Tim isn't tone deaf.

Kurt Cobain could sing, what part of this sucks?

Vocals start at 38 seconds.

AFAIC, that's another testimony for the old guard and yet another in a long, long list of reasons to never waste one minute in front of the TV watching American Idol.
