How to sell small items online without using ebay?
 

My wife would never admit it but she is very good at knitting, sewing, and craft type stuff. She has even made custom fabric purses for friends and acquaintance's.

Is there someway to setup an inexpensive website that will take credit cards?

Obviously we don't need anything large... we don't want to sell hundreds of these things... but a few extra bucks wouldn't hurt.

This is the site I use to sell some handmade stuff.

credit card processors will always charge u at least 3.5% transaction fee. cause that's just how much they charge.

if you're doing face to face person sale, u can look at Square module for iphone/android.

there is the Dwolla transaction alternative. they charge 25 cents transaction. but the buyer will have to be setup in the system and have their checking account linked.
