I've done the western whiskey trail (Maker's, Heaven Hill, etc), but I haven't done the eastern trail. Sounds like you are in a good spot to visit some fine distilleries like Buffalo Trace, Woodford Reserve, Four Roses. Also, good horse country there. Son, I can't help you out on the food, but drink a temperate share of American bourbon. Kentucky Bourbon Trail Quote:

Back when I lived there, the goto was Columbia Steak House; haven't been there since the 80s, but I passed in December and it was still there.

Driving down Monday and driving back Sunday some time. So far Tuesday, Wednesday & Sunday are my only busy days. I may be able to do Sunday just depends how my migration goes Sunday morning.

When I was in grad school at UK Charlie Browns on Euclid was my hang out. Good burgers and bar grub...very inexpensive. Still there AFAIK.

My '71 S came from Madrid by way of Lexington. Owned by a college professor at an all girls school. Maybe that's a destination. | ||

If it's the school I remember, let's just say it would be a more appropriate destination for Ellen Degeneres. I worked with some cuties that went there (damned shame).
