Hit TV show or Hit movie. What would you want to produce?
I know there are some film industry guys out there. Personal satisfaction, I guess a movie would be more rewarding artistically, but what would be more rewarding financially? a hit movie or a hit TV show?

"Produce" is a subjective word. For the major studios, the Executive Producer is hired by the studio to run, or manage, the show and is paid a fee. For TV the Executive Producer is usually the creator of the show and will probably make a lot more money if the show runs 6-8 seasons, plus syndication. Think of Chuck Lorre of 2-1/2 men, or Marc Cherry of Desperate Housewives.

TV show. Ensemble cast, formulaic scripts, 5 season run, reruns, syndication, DVD set, cha ching! Yeah, screw the artistic integrity, I'm a lazy a$$.
