Short trip to Geneva anyone been - at motorshow this weekend

Hey folks,

has anyone been to Geneva, I've only ever passed through the airport and never been to the city.

I am staying sat night with a few people and at the motorshow during the day.

Planning to go into Geneva at night for beers and food any help or recommendations would be much appreciated.

This place, if you're up for a bit of an adventure and are lucky enough to score a reservation. It's out in the wine country west of the city, a bit of a taxi ride. It's a Michelin-starred restaurant, as well as a hotel, and is worth the effort.

Enjoy.....Love Geneva, but always get out of town right away and head an hour south to Lake Annecy:

time is a bit tight so was looking for places a in Geneva centre ideally, will try and check out that Chateau but suspect it will be pretty busy with the motor show in town.

Thats funny you mention Annecy we have passed through there for years on the way to skiing in Les Arcs, one of my favourite places sadly not doable this weekend!
