Most people who know that they are an ass spend an awful lot of time trying to prove that they are not....

asphaltgambler 03-26-2012 05:43 AM

See my past posts on offering a 'bounty' for the same job.......I'm not an ass, least I don't think so......just trying to work every angle to get ahead!

I'd be careful. An ad like that could, nowadays, get you a job stamping license plates at a federal facility somewhere!:(

Yeah, if you were a campaign bundler for Obama, you could be an ambassador somewhere.

I hope you don't go to work for the government. There are enough asses already there that can't spell.

I applied for a TSA job a while back -- in response to once of the whining threads here or in PARF about how easy it was to get the job, etc.

Hugh R 03-26-2012 11:16 AM

I'm guessing you didn't get the job.

From what I've seen, your a$$ has to be 4 feet wide and able to squeeze into a pair of size 8 polyester pants to work for the TSA. I think it's a job requirement.

I failed to follow thru on the additional forms needed. I satisfied myself it is not as easy as some think to get a TSA job - it requires a lot of perseverance in the face of the bureaucracy. It reminded me a bit of dealing with the Army.

I did however, reach level 2 in the multi-level application process... or something.

After 30 years, I retired for a Gov't job......Didn't know I could sell it for $5K?????? That's my monthly retirement Check after taxes.......

You where almost there. Level 3 was groping a grandma, level 4 was inspecting the diapers of a 4 yo ;).
