You Just Never Know.................

Every Tues I head down to my little club on the River for "Beer Club" and to BS with buddies, been doing this for over 25 years. Today, my friend Vickie tells my John's funeral is Sat, I say John who?? Turns out that it was her brother, one of my long time friends, but his job has kept him travelling, so I haven't seen much of him lately:(
John was one of the guys I played Beach Volleyball with, did MTB rides, he was always doing something, not over weight, not a heavy drinker, but while sitting in him BMW at a car wash, waiting in line, he didn't go forward, when someone checked, he was gone:( A perfectly healthy appearing guy, had a quick heart attack while sitting in his car:(
I'm still in shock about this as just the other day I was thinking I hadn't talked to John for a while and it was about time for another ride since he hadn't seen my new Trek.. R.I.P. John..... You were always a good friend Sir..

Sorry Byron.

Sounds like John went quickly and hopefully painlessly but unfortunately too soon.

Byron, you sure have lost a lot of people lately

The sad thing about getting old is that if you get old enough, you will eventually outlast everyone you knew.

Sorry, Byron. But I am glad it wasn't you.
