Spring Skiing in VT...

This was last week when it was around 75 degrees. Hardly any snow left but it was a perfect day with nie big soft bumps.

These are from Killington, Superstar then Outer Limits. Then at the new bar at the base. Nice way to end the season!

Very Nice. Spring bump skiing is the best.
Went up to Holiday Valley weekend of 3/9-3/11 Weather was perfect and suunny--nice soft bumps, just about wore out my knees

The Healey pic is great.

That's a decent hill for VT.... looks like a blast. We're closing our mountain in just 10 days, so hoping for one last good dump to get back up there. Last week was stellar.

I was there Friday and Saturday, good band at the umbrella bar.

Our season ended during march break, kind of sucks, but I admit I've been enjoying the weather we've been having.
I'm not a huge fan of spring skiing, the wet snow is too hard on my knees.

Outer Limits is one of the shortest runs at Killington.

It's a big mountain.

Outer Limits is the middle run on Bear Mtn, lower left.

Both of those are great runs. Outer Limts is usually where the mogul competitions are held.

SM - thanks for the map. It looks like they have opened a bunch of the "off map" tree skiing areas.

Outer Limits may be short but its one of the baddest bump runs in the east. Its no KT-22 or a Gun Barell but its still has nasty bumps with many perfect lines. They run a great bump competiion as well every year as well.

I usually ski Stowe and Sugarbush more now but skiid Killington a ton tens years ago or so. One year I skiied on it on Halloween then June 1st in the same season when they were trying to keep it open the longest.
