American racing looking good this year!

It's looking a lot better in American racing this year. This coming from something of a euro snob, racing wise (F1, WRC, ALMS)... Indycar looks like they finally got it going again after the split... The cars look pretty good (maybe not from the rear, but overall OK, especially compared to last season), lots of decent drivers, Danica is finally gone and the attention can return to talented non-whining drivers, I'm actually enjoying the series!!!

Even more shocking, Grand AM is looking decent too. The butt ugly DPs of yore have been transformed into something visually acceptable (Riley) or downright sexy (corvette DP, yumm). They have Ferrari Italia and Audi R8s in GT to boot, nice.... Ok I'm still bothered that the rules allow a friggin RX8 to be competitive with the above ( it should be in for oil every 2 laps if it was a street car), but whatever.... My TiVo is going the be busy this season!
