How can I use a subwoofer with my PC speakers?
I'm using a little class T amp to drive some bookshelf speakers off of a Mac mini. I just split the mini-jack connector into two RCA's and run it into the amp then out to the speakers.
The back of the amp looks like this: http://p.lefux.com/61/20100220/A1772...plifier_18.jpg It sounds decent but it could use some low end. I also have a weird old Kenwood subwoofer that I would like to add to the system. It is powered and has a single RCA as an input. It looks like this: http://i1.lelong.com.my/UserImages/I.../kuewwai@5.jpg How can I add my existing sub to the system on the cheap? |
The Kenwood manual says you are supposed to use the "supplied adapter" which is probably a filter.

Ahh. I see that now. I bought this thing used a decade ago so I didn't get the adapter. Does anyone know of something aftermarket that would do the same thing?

You could use something like this to replace the "adapter"
