Mom's here with me and she would like to say "I appreciate the wishes from each and everyone of you. Thank you so much for your comments. Being 82 I still feel like I am 21. Love and best wishes go out to each and every one of you!"

fwiw, she was actually upset with the gift of Crown Royal she received, she has gotten on a Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey kick lately and was hoping that is what she would have received. I told her that I would pick her up a bottle this weekend.

Mom also wanted me to let you know that she didn't always look like this....

Here is a picture of her from the 50's... she is unsure who the guy in the picture is, but she believes that it is the lead guitarist from the June Carter Band (Prior to June marrying Johnny) from an outdoor gig in Indianapolis Indiana.

No, but I can understand why you would think that lol. It is actually, from front to back, Soy Sauce, Dark Superior Soy Sauce, Fish Sauce, Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar, and then one of those decorative infused thingys that was given to us as a gift. Still to this day have not opened it to use lol...

Birthday dinner (What is on the stove in the pictures) Mom wanted Bourbon St. Chicken for her birthday. So I made her Bourbon St. Chicken, white rice and stir fry vegetables. The stir fry veggies, I put about 2tbls of sesame oil in the wok, got it hot till it just started smoking, and then tossed in the veggies, added a little garlic powder and fish sauce to finish it off. Came out great! My favorite is the filo dough rolled spring rolls, deep fried and then dip them in fish sauce... I could eat that 24hrs a day everyday. I would weigh a ton...
