What's the jet in the background?

Noah930 04-04-2012 07:52 PM

A4?

Flieger 04-04-2012 07:53 PM

The intakes suggest that, but the nose seems too pointy like an F-18 but the jet is way too small for an F-18.

What about the far left background? F-86 Sabre?

I need to stop clicking on MC threads...I have my hands full with spoons right now. :)

No, that's a MiG-15. I think. Might be a 17.

The aircraft directly behind the bike might be a TA-4F, basically the two seat trainer version of the A4.

Oops! L 39, see below.
The little one to the side does indeed look like a MiG 15.

Love the bikes. Must...resist!

Paul
The bike with checkerboard scheme is an F650gs (Dakar). A bit confusing in that BMW sold two models with the same name, a 650 single cyl (mine) and an 800 cc twin.
The single was very similar to a KLR, perhaps a bit better road bike. For some reason I kept a KLR (a red one) and sold the BMW.

The plane behind the bike looks like an L-39, with a MiG in the background.

L-39 is correct. Photo taken at CNO.
