Nokia Lumia 900

Anyone have one yet? Getting one?

I picked mine up on Friday since I pre-ordered.

Liking it so far, though I do have a couple minor annoyances with it hardware wise, but I may just not be used to the size compared to my Focus yet.

The new Nokia 900 is a terrific piece of hardware. I really want to like it. I REALLY want to like it. But when all is said and done, the new hardware can't over come an inferior eco system. There simply aren't the apps I need and want.

No kidding, and nothing even rumored on the Horizon. They are still pissed about the Kin I guess. Have a couple people at work that want to swtich, but don't like the Trophy.

I was actually just talking to someone about this, and a big part of the problem is that the market search isn't that great. The example was Pandora. There are 2-3 apps that play Pandora stations, but no official app, and it doesn't show up in the search.

I mostly use built in stuff and only a couple of little things for mine.

Rob, I was an early adopter of the product. I was hoping Mango would fix my issues but no joy. FWIW, I need the Cisco VPN client and something to create "profiles." It is my understanding that the API's simply are not available.

Yep, that would be a deal breaker.

There is something about the way the network works that won't allow access at the level needed for VPN clients.

Same thing with profiles, if you mean them in such a way as they worked in WM.

It'll change eventually, but not for another 9-12 months probably at least.

So apparently some 900s have connection issues. Bummer.

Mine is fine.

Fix is figured out and comes out on the 16th.

Nokia is now crediting everyone that bought one already and buys one through the 21st $100 to their bill. Bonus.
