Nurburgring track reference books/materials?
Hey all,
Heading to Europe in 2 weeks or so and plan on some lapping at the 'Ring. Short of buying an xBox 360/PS3 and doing some virtual lapping, does anybody have a reference or link to a decent track guide? I'll be driving slow, of course, but it'd be great to know which way the corners go before I get there. Thanks, d. |

Seriously.... I'm sure it'd make an AWESOME coffee table book, it's beautiful, but there's no possible way (in my opinion) you could study a book or something like that and get ready for the Nurburgring. If you're just going to have fun, you'll be fine, just watch for MUCH faster cars in the rear view mirror.!!!
PS3 really is probably the best thing though it can't even imitate the elevation changes, at least not so that you can tell it's going on. That being said, there is a web site that has a bunch of "instructional" type drawings of specific corners sort of "disected" to show the preferred line... If I can find it I'll post it... |
Here's a link to a pretty cool video. I'm friends with the guy driving the Gallardo (camera car).
