Anyone have a Motorola "brick" phone?

Wife bought into an 80's party at our kids school auction. I was told tonight that we will not be the stick in the mud couple in plain clothes.

I'll pay to ship both ways.

Any other thoughts?

Parachute pants?

I keep one in the random collection of stuff on my desk. You'll note that it is a later brick as it's a bit more compact than the original.

I just saw a Member's Only jacket at Goodwill last week, but I'm sure it's gone now.

Yeah, I still have the "Brick" phone. It still works ( although not to call ) when I plug it in to the lighter.

That's what they cost back then. Hell, I bought a VHS in the '70's that cost a grand.

I think you can still buy a walkman from Walmart, but I'm not 100% sure. While you are there, might as well check for a "Trapper-keeper" three-ring binder.

I'd skip the parachute pants and go for a nice pair of OP shorts, complete with the velcro zipper! But if you go with the parachute pant, make sure you augment it with a Champs muscle shirt. (Jordache jeans work well with that shirt as well) Or if you can't find any of that, a polo shirt with the up-turned collar simply screams 80's, especially if worn UNDER a button-down oxford long-sleeve shirt.

What it is.

My first mobile was a bag phone about 25 years ago. Still have the same number. A lot of people ask me how on Earth I got that number its (818) XXX-3000.
