tricks are for kids ?

Did you read the explanation? Or was that too scientific for you?
Its a very interesting camera trick. Cool from a science standpoint.... |

fun though |
Basically they had the speaker cycling at the same frequency as the camera.... 25hz.. For those of you too lazy to read....
A video further down that link shows doing the same thing with a strobe light. |

Have you never seen an old western movie with wagon wheels seemingly moving like spinners? |
I find it interesting. I've seen that effect with a strobe light before but the speaker is just there to make the drops uniform and not a stream?
The corn starch and water mixtures on a speaker are neat too. |
That is cool! Wish I could come up with some smart ass response but can't. Thanks for posting!

Interesting. I thought they just had some dripping water and synched a strobe to it. What they did is much more complicated, but it works.

In the end it is just tricks......special effects ..........no biggie........I want to see perpetual motion !
