wawanesa insurance?

never heard of it, but one of my coworkers told me about it. i got a quote for the Fiat and an Exige S that costs just as much as my Fiat by itself from state farm. state farm is absolutely killing me out here. no accidents, no tickets, clean record for 14 years, since ive been driving. i'm 30 years old.

is this a decent insurance carrier?

I have been with them for several years can't complain .The premium in my opinion is unbeatable compare to other local ins. co. if your record is clean(2car including 911 fully covered plus another DD with just liability coverage with 2 drivers just under $1900 a year) ,but as far as the service goes during the whole time I had only one accident(Thank's God) that was taken care of swiftly.

We had good luck with them when we lived in CA. Full coverage on 4 cars (including the Cobra replica) was about $1600 per year. Only one claim right after moving to WI. Hit a deer with the Durango and they took care of us quickly with no hasle. Wish we could have stayed with them.

We have gov't insurance in BC but I did use them for house insurance and they were cheaper than the company I used before, sorry I can't remember their name.

I have had them since I started driving 16(!) years ago. My parents for a long time before that. Never a problem and always by far the cheapest. Only had one claim (my parents actually) and it was taken care of quickly. I have converted several friends to them and no complaints so far.

+1 Very good rates, no problems. We have had them for 20 years or more.

And, when my teenage daughter totaled the Mustang, they paid out more than I expected. I was dreading the rate increase after that fiasco, but it was a not nearly as bad as anticipated.

They are the best for me so far, regarding both premium and liable.
They are new, around 10+ years or so, in the west coast. Someone told me that they were one of the biggest in the east and reputable, if I remember right. She also said that they used to serve military only...
Not easy to get in. Several people I introduced couldn't get it with 2 or more tickets.

Randy's right....started off as a group of farmers who couldn't get insurance or were being ripped off by some other insurance company and they started their own. They do home, life and auto insurance. HQ is about 10 min from me.

I've had them for a number of years. They are great and no problems so far. My Vue for full coverage is $650 for the year. I say not bad.

I thought about switching; I have AAA and it's expensive, especially with as many cars as I have.

From reading online reviews, Wawanesa sucks monkey balls. They don't have their own claim adjusters; they just have a bunch of mercenaries who travel around and they get to you when they get to you. A friend of mine had the front end of his M3 stolen in the parking lot at his office (bumper, splitter, lights, mirrors) and it was a couple of weeks before an adjuster even showed up to look at it. He was still happy because he's cheap.
