Growing up in Chicago, I ate Vienna beef hot dogs whenever my dad would take us. There are none to compare. You must steam the bun, poppy seeds of course, trimmings, a few fries and I'm in hot dog heaven. Whenever I'm in Chicago, the other guys tease me because I have to have "my fix". Oh well.

One thing I dont get is dye # whatever in the relish, very fluorescent.
I do know during the great depression 5 cent Chicago Dogs were a nutritional in expensive meal
