Cool old movie-The Apartment
If you like classic movies, check this one out. Jack Lemmon, Shirley McLaine, and several other folks you will recognize are in it.
It's odd because, unlike many movies out today there is no cursing, nudity, or car chases/gunfights. Just a good, old fashioned movie about executives that cheat on their wives using the apartment of a subordinate. ![]() I gotta say, Shirley was a hottie in those days. Another cool movie is "Under the Yum Yum tree". I think one of the Petticoat Junction chicks are in it plus many other good looking gals. Yeah, I know. I have no life.

If you want to see more of the dad from My Three Sons (Fred MacMurray;aka Steve Douglas) playing a morally corrupt badass check out Double Indemnity sometime.
Jeepers, Biff! Some of those old Billy Wilder movies sure had a lot of sex and violence in them! ![]()

That's funny as I thought the same thing. Although the characters are different, he still has the same nuances, for lack of a better term, as Jack Lemmon(the(the person).

Yum Yum was pretty weak..
I liked "Good Neighbor Sam" it was also fluff..but it had its moments with Romey and Louis Nye as the Snooper Billy Wilder is probably the bestest Directoray ever...Five Graves to Cairo, Double Indemity, Sunset Blvd, Sabrina, Some Like It Hot, The Apartment, Irma La Douce, Kiss Me Stupid, The Front Page, Fortune Cookie, and Private Life Of Sherlock Holmes http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000697/

Actually, I am not a big fan of John Wayne. I liked "McQ" but that's about it.

Jack Lemmon imho is one of the greatest actors to grace film. He has range and subtlety that few, if any, can match. Watch "Some Like it Hot," then "Mr. Roberts", then "The Apartment", then "Odd Couple", then "China Syndrome", then Glengary Glenross." He's brilliant. Billy Wilder, did he make any bad movies? Frank Capra is like that to me too.
Jack Lemmon, he could do anything, great actor.

"The Apartment" is one of my favourites for sure.
I'd have to vote "The Odd Couple" as Lemmon's finest though.... ![]()
