Ok, that made me laugh. A lot.

Heel n Toe 04-24-2012 12:45 AM

Dumb. I really wanted it to be funny, but couldn't find any humor in it at all.

How many idiots has Johnny Knoxville created in this world? You know what I'm talking about.

widgeon13 04-24-2012 03:53 AM

Why?

s_morrison57 04-24-2012 04:33 AM

That guys getting ready for a Darwin award, there is one born every minute.

"Bat-like reflexes" he does not have.

(There have been documented cases where bats were able to literally fly through spinning fans using their sonar to measure the distance.)

i was at a Caribbean resort some years ago and while putting a shirt over my head ran my hand into the fan blades. Hurt like an SOB and yes I felt pretty silly for doing it. Can't imagine why you would do it with your head.

URY914 04-24-2012 07:15 AM

Stupid

ckissick 04-24-2012 10:13 AM

There appears to have been a flaw in his thought process.

Yep, and lots of kids have been injured trying stupid stuff. I just don't get it either.

wdfifteen 04-24-2012 11:00 AM

I laughed. I don't know why. Watching stupid people do stupid things usually doesn't amuse me.

Baz 04-24-2012 11:06 AM

No offense but I see enough stupidity every day - just on the highways alone - and don't need to see more of it....

Again....it is my opinion one day humans will wipe themselves off the planet with their stupidity.

Flieger 04-24-2012 12:27 PM

Hugh R clearly was not on the production staff for this short film.

Sweet Home Alabama - The Southern Rock Saga - YouTube

A real classic.

I'm a pretty tall guy, and my apartment has low ceilings. The first few months were hell on my hands....

They will destroy everything else first, Baz.

Thanks ,Schumi. :)

widebody911 04-24-2012 04:27 PM

I'm now slightly dumber for having watched that.

Zeke 04-24-2012 04:57 PM

Off camera breaking glass, but nothing came off the fan. He barely touched the blades. I used to stick my finger in the table fan all the time as a kid when the guards were more open. As long as you don't get the leading edge, it's like a card in bike spokes.

This azz really wanted to score a million view video but no cigar. Way stupid act and way stupid acting. I think for his next trick he should jump over a car coming right at him. That might be a little harder to fake.

True story, many years ago (Ok, not that long ago) I installed a ceiling fan in my office in the house. It had a long pull chain and a weight at the end of the chain (that I hadn't put on yet). I pulled the chain and let go, the chain popped up into the moving blades, and caught and the fan, which kept running and it unwound from the pole it was on in about two seconds and fell to the floor. I hadn't (yet) put the locking set screw into the the fan where the pole screwed into it either.

LOL! If only you'd had the camera running Hugh...
