Anyone going to check out the solar eclipse?
 

Sunday, May 20, across northern CA, then NV, and right over Albuqurque (sp?). It's going to be near Redding and Mt. Lassen. It will be an annular eclipse, meaning there will be a ring around the moon, since the moon will be a little farther away from us, and smaller. A total eclipse covers the whole sun. Still, it should be pretty cool. I've never seen more than a partial eclipse. I'm thinking of taking the Westy up for a camping weekend.

If my show is still in ABQ, I'll try and get there.

ABQ should be cool - likely clear and at sunset over the west mesa. Westward towards Grants and Mount Taylor is on our short list...

I work in the silicon valley. Lately "Solar Eclipse" has a whole new meaning here.

Oh, heck ya!! I think I'll head down to Shasta and go mountain biking that weekend. Little riding, little camping, and an eclipse!
