I think it will pickup any Porsche, short of a Cayenne... |
Oh, the assembly line is in the same facility. They also make identical Forklifts for CAT! They just add $2K to the price. No difference...
|
Well you got the color right- I dare you to put the Porsche stripe down the side..|
Decklid 911 emblem on the back as well. Do it. |
I like Randy's thinking..... Need some printed Porsche Crests? ;)

NARC - Not a Real Caterpillar

Cool! The building I rented before I bought my place , was an old trucking company's warehouse, and they left behind 2 forklifts. We used the hell out of them. One was one of those big ones, with dual front wheels. I watched it pick up 10,000 lb coils of steel to transfer from trailer to trailer. We used the little forklift to hold down the rear of it while it was holding the steel rolls, it wanted to tip over forward.
What biz are you in Beard? I bet it would pick up a Cayenne. I think we moved a full sized blazer with our little one. Our little forklift had a broken ignition, and we had to hot wire it. One of my employees hotwired it in gear one morning, and it went right through my office wall, I had to do a flying dive to turn it off, it almost went right through the exterior wall of the building. |
Specialty Metals and Off Shore Solar. We need it for unloading trucks. It sucks to have to keep paying $180 for liftgate delivery. We also can now consolidate shipments at our own facility, if needed.
|
A forklift is damn handy to have around.... We finally got a front end loader on a tractor with forks... Beats the hell out of setting up a crane to unload trucks all the time....
|
I definitely plan to pickup a bulldozer and a Backhoe loader at some point.
|
We keep trying to justify a SkidSteer, but we just haven't gotten there yet.....
A scissorlift is coming soon to our fleet though, even with the bucket trucks, there are times that the scissor is just nicer.... |

i just snorted!! hahahha... best thread EVER! nice reference kid. |
You will also find a gazillion other uses for it once you have it. . We even used them to change the light bulbs high up on the ceiling. Used it to assemble/ set up my lifts, installed 3 big hanging reznor furnaces with it. Damn handy machine . I've got the jones for an older backhoe with a front blade for around the shop, and my home property. I have a bunch of earth I want to move, and I keep thinking it will be financially smarter to buy one, use it for a year, and sell it off when I am done.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1335477500.jpg
Here's my buddies skid , sitting at my shop right now. he bought this for $800.00 from his boss with a bad hydraulic pump. He fixed that, put four tires on it, painted it up , and works the heck out of it. |
Nice work, Red. :)
|
