UPS Question
I have a new phone coming in today and I hope it is delivered before I head out for the weekend DE.
So, does anyone know how a UPS driver determines his route on a given day? In particular, does an overnight package influence the planning? Thanks! |
delivery
If you have the tracking number for the package and track it. Out for Delivery is all you'll see today. If it was shipped overnight am, you will see it this morning, Overnight saver could be end of day.
If is is not Overnight am, your delivery really depends on where you lie in big brown' s super efficient delivery route. Trying to find the driver by driving and looking is nearly impossible but worth a try Good luck |
The universal rule is the more you want the package the slower it comes. If it is something for replacement stock that you don't need for a few weeks it will be there instantly. If it is something that you want desperately it will be delayed, lost or damaged.
Your best hope to to forget it and pretend you can't care less about it. It will show up in seconds. ;) |
Doesn't seem to matter, I get my deliveries at about the same time every time.

LOL, yeah I know the relationship between "want" and "delivery." Just hoping it was a old wives' tale.
Thanks for the insight. |
I've called UPS before and they have contacted the driver....I've been able to get an accomodation in some cases....

Great idea there, JB. I called UPS. They called the driver and got me a "no later than" delivery time which happens to work out fine.
Thanks! |
Somtimes the obvious answer escapes us....

True, very true.
