Flood Watch again ?

Yup.
Pretty early time of year but our rivers have really come up this week.
Highest I've seen for this time of year.
We have super high snowpack this year 130% of normal.
Now I hear this morning on our news we are on flood watch. Already flooding in some other areas.
Last night and today we have a heavy rainfall warning and it's pouring.Had 5 days in the 80s here. Also early in the year for those temps.
I'm gonna walk down and take some pics before I can't get there.
How are my buds in the pacwest doing?
Lakeclenum, how you doing?

Those pics are of the junction where Rock Creek meets the Kettle river.
It just stopped raining . I can barely get to where I took the pics this morning.Water has come up another 4ft. This is as high now as when everyone was freaking last may and we have at least 5 weeks till high water..We just finished 24hr of monsoon rain here so this time tomorrow is when we'll see the result of that.
I'm sure up river there are homes damaged or gone . This came up so fast I know no one has sandbagged .

Nothing flooding in Oregon. It was a few weeks ago. Not bad.

Here it is24hr later.
Now it's not good. This is as high as it gets by end of may.
Second pic is water at neighbors fenceline.
Kettle has now washed over rock creek and slowly will widen . A little more and it will come across neighbors lawn and into my place.
That is what we just avoided last year.
I haven't even heard people talking about the river this year but guess I will now.
