Best Car Stereo for Ipod

It seems like Alpine is the only high quality car stereo brand left...

But what I am really curious about is whether there is a car stereo that does a high quality digital to analog conversion (D > A) as the ones done by iPods are pretty high on jitter.

This is meant to attract Ian's attention in particular, but I'm interested in comments from others (e.g. bell) also.

There are plenty of car stereos that have Burr Brown DACs. Pioneer makes a few along with Alpine, Eclipse, McIntosh, and several others.

How much do you want to spend and what other features are important to you?

I have an older Pioneer that has a permanently hooked up 8 gig Ipod....works great.
