For a post to be approved and posted? I made a post this afternoon and it still has not appeared. :(:(

It usually posts quickly. When you go back to the forum though you have to do the refresh thing to update it.

It takes long enough for a moderator to have time to mess with it it... Just a preventative measure to keep the spammers at bay...

I enjoy Classic cars, drag cars, Harleys, and Boating. My family had a 912 when I was young. A friend does restorations on early german autos. I have driven a handful of 356s and 912s that he has had. I really like the 912s. For a while I was pretty serious about buying one, but never found the right car for me. During that time I purchased a 1968 912 engine and 901/05 trans. Well times have changed, and real estate is more of a priority right now. Which brings me here, to sell the engine, trans, and some other 912 parts. I have lurked for some time now, just never registed.

Don't take it personally. Some things are not acceptable here, for instance I tried putting in the equivalent of a female dog in here and it was not accepted. I have been taken to task on certain things I said but that is the same in the outside world. Just pretend u are not a newbie. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it does not. I have been told the Politics section is even worse. Enjoy this forum anyway. Wayne of Pelican Parts is very impressive and I have not even met him. :):):)
