nasty. so sooner or later i am gonna get hit? i have waded through some of the biggest patches chasing wounded hogs. i guess i have just gotten lucky.

What Flieger said. I have tons of scrub oak sprouting around here & it looks very similar - exact in fact. I also had poison oak. I sprayed it with a solution of water & dish soap followed with an application of Round Up. Haven't noticed any around here in quite a while at least where I sprayed it.

Just got back from a weekend of camping with the family. I found a clump of both oak and poison oak together. The rounded leaves are poison oak and the pointy ones are the real oak.

I have had good luck with washing up with bleach and cold water outside after exposure.

That crap used to tear my tail up.

If you get it bad, and I have, Cortisone shots will get rid of it.
