Another one of Those Weeks....

Looks like another one, besides the childhood Heros & others whom we lost over the past week, Sat I lost another good friend and today, my former Brother-in-law passed today..
Tom was a Korean War Vet, and after dropping out of the corporate world in the late 60s (became a hippy/biker) and just enjoyed life the way he wanted too.
He was a very interesting man to talk to and I generally enjoyed our conversations..
R.I.P. Tom.
This picture, taken about 4 years ago, myself, my 13 year old Nephew Thomas & his father Tom..

Also sorry ot hear about it Byron. Yes, you seem to have had more than your share recently. Hope things look up for you in that respect.

Sad to hear, my Brother.

And hold on, he looks familiar. Have you posted about him before?

Byron,

Sorry to hear.
I recall you posted a similar pic of you, Thomas and his dad.

We lose them all, eventually. Maybe if I can remember that each day, it will help me enjoy the moments with those I love even more.

Best
Les

Thanks everyone, yea, I have posted pix of up, it was always fun to take him to the Turkey Rod run as he remembered when most of the cars were new and owned or had a cool story about different ones. He was in the process of having a big block 1950 Ford pick up built, but he sold it off a few months back, I thought about it, but have too much on my plate as it is.. He was in his 60s when Thomas was born, the man just had game, that is something no one could ever take from him and he has been part of our family since the 70s... He broke all the rules & all the molds...

You've been in an emotional rock shower lately, Byron.

Tom's story is, in my view, uplifting and encouraging. Particularly in that second picture, he looks the poster child for health and happiness. We should all live on our own terms. Like Tom.

Sorry to hear it Byron, you seem to have lost a lot of friends lately for someone who is not really that old

It sounds like these people have had excellent quality of life - but tough on you Byron. Keep the good pics coming.
