My Porsche-manly weekend: think you can beat me??
I have $5 via Paypal if you can beat me.
![]() Friday evening: checked on the repaint of my 944T: getting close! Took 911 turbo to the gym: always fun to drive fast on rr2244. Friday night: washed the '91 928 GT, took off rear tire cause of nail. fun. Took off left rear strut for my new 928 coilover configuration. Saturday am: washed 911 turbo. Saturday am spin class, lunch. Met friend at Lexus to buy a new car (successful) Met PCA Racer friend at Boostlogic to work up EFI system for 944T race car Set up in the office to sort & lap valves on race car head 1-4: set all 16v. Ate dinner, walked dogs, went back out into garage (AC on) & swapped coilovers on the '91 GT for a newer lower rear mount (see pic below), removed the upper racing mount for a street setup. Finished about 10pm. Sunday: met up for breakfast with a PCA buddy, went out to Legend Garage (Ben Genovese's establishment), did some bead blasting thanks to Ben's generosity. Ben has a plethora of 928 intakes hanging in various states of powdercoating: an incredible investment in shop/tools to offer his products: first class: good job Ben! Picked up my powdercoated intake parts for the 928 race car while I was there: oh yeah, I need that. Sunday worked on 944T race car, removed old windshield, hood, bled brakes, installed 11" front wheels & spacers. Ate late lunch with a few racers, went over to West Dillard's house & played MAF conversion with him for a bit. Sunday afternoon: returned to my AC'd garage, lowered race car from lift. Sunday installed new Speedhut Fuel level gauge in my carbon fiber dash console: hard to do while vacuuming at the same time. :/ Sunday: got under car, adjusted & re-mounted my Aeromotive Fuel filter & adjusted my -8an fuel supply line to the filter. Placed 911 on lift & prepared for exhaust removal. Put up tools, crashed about 11pm. Monday am: took off 911 turbo's exhaust, resealed, re-installed. Took 911 Turbo turbo-back exhaust across town to get wide-band O2 bung welded. GT drove great with new coilovers on it. Now it's turbo-time. Reinstalled 911 exhaust. Worked on some suspension parts for a customer, cleaned up the office. Back into office: sorted & lapped valves for race head 5-8, took head to washer, cleaned, washed turbo 928, got a few lookers from a Cobra replica group, raced & beat (bad) a new E63 AMG. Finished painting suspension parts. Took 911 for a test spin to ensure exhaust is fully sealed: success. Ate quick dinner, put up tools, sat down to watch the Monaco Grand Prix in 45m, off to bed. I love getting a lot done on weekends. Could have used more down-time but still did what I wanted to do. ![]()

I don't get that much achieved in one year. Sounds like a great way to lose weight!I will resume the second paragraph tonight.

I'm sure someone had sex in the back of their Cayenne on Saturday and again in their Panamera on Sunday.
That should trump your manly weekend.

just because I didn't disclose sex in my busy weekend doesn't mean it was absent. Course she was sick so it certainly wasn't...oh I better stop now. :/

You better fit her in when she gets better because the weekend is coming up and u will have another busy schedule! Oh the joy of youth. I am guessing by your energy level that u are not over 40 years old!

I just turned 43.
![]() Spin class: sit in the front, challenge everyone who's younger than you, pretty manly. Spin class: sit in the back, stare at all the great butt's in front of you (as the class is mostly women), still pretty manly. Either way I get points.

Well now! Ain't you the one......... I was feeling guilty for not doin' anything. Then again, your 30 years younger. May be I'm just envious of your youth!

Wow, that is a lot of stuff. I did go for a nice drive on Sunday afternoon but other than that it was just relaxing.
Good grief. Spin class? I could never do that. I hate everything about the concept. I prefer to ride real hills. They are much more fun on the descents.

FAIL.
I actually had to go back and read it again to be sure. You can turn in your man card at the door. Trade in your 911 & 944 for a Boxster, while you're at it. ![]() -Z-man.

what's with you guys? I've lifted weights for nearly 30 years...time for some cardio: I don't need any more muscle.
Besides, my wife has Never asked me how much I can bench, but she loves to see me drenched from spin class. No equipment to buy, no cars to dodge, no sunburn, no bike to tote around. Screw you guys, I love it. OH and it's AIR CONDITIONED!

That's pretty harsh, Z-man. Don't 944 owners already start out with a man-card deficit? Where's the sympathy for a fellow FEWC guy?
