Your Miata insulted his awesome Dodge. He had to retaliate. |
I got zapped by a green laser in a bar one time. It wasnt intentional. I got a few flashes in the eye, and I saw some people playing with one and not paying attention. I didnt think much of it. But later it gave me a huge headache.
Its the wattage output that does the damage. Also, do not point lasers at aircraft. Its not very hard to ID a location from the air and its a stiff penalty if caught. Lasing incidents get reported almost everyday to the FAA. |
Never heard of this....you can't really get a powerfull handheld one that would do any damage. Blind you temporarily i guess, but so will high beams
|
Mr James, a laser, even a fairly low wattage one, can do permanent damage to your retina. High beams can't do that.

I was in a bar in Texas a few years ago and a guy was playing with a lazer on the other side of the horse shoe. The guy next to me said in a large booming "Son, I'd advise you to put that thing away before someone thinks your aiming something other than a toy at them and shoots you dead." He put it away........

Scary stuff... If it can do this to rubber balloons what can it do to your retina? (or the retina of the guy pointing it through his car windows)
