Looking for some background info over the net on someone
 

All I have is a name and the city and country this person use to live. where do I find public record on stuff like that. I have been at it for an hour with no luck.

Probably not gonna be free. Plenty of services will give you all public records for a fee. You can run them through one of the tenant screening credit checks too, but the cheapest one is $19 per try and can get more expensive, depending on how much info you want.

I have had some luck using social media sources.

What, they're not on FB or LinkedIn?

Do you know anyone in law enforcement?

International info might be tougher than using Zabasearch and Intellius. Don't know, never tried. But those 2 have given me everything I need for free.

Start out with White Pages | People Finder - AnyWho by putting their name and known location in the blanks, then hit enter. Then if they do not come up then look at the bottom of the page and it usually says:

I just did it and did not come up with any results, but right below gives the name of the person I typed in with results from "UsSearch" and "Intelius" with the person who I typed in. Click on either link and it then shows you the results from their search but not their contact info.

That tells you which city they would be in or were in at one time, and other cities where they have lived in. You just go from there...

In Western Canada (cept BC) you might use Henderson Directorys. That is depending on how far back you want/need to go.

Or Polk city directory if in Eastern Canada (I don't know much about those)

You might actually have to go to the city your trying to search for the person as the Henderson directorys are out of print and local libraries might be the only source.

I think they quit publishing the HD in about 1998
