Spam Emails
 

What are you guys doing about Spam Emails? I'm using Microsoft Outlook Web App and I'm receiving between 15- to 40 spam emails a day, I can block them as they come BUT there's has to be a better way :confused: Any suggestions on how to deal with this? Maybe I can change to a different application for emails?

G-mail catches 99.9% One might get through every month or so. Yesterday G-mail sent 32 messages directly to my spam-box. 18 so far today.

The flip side to that is a couple of times a year I miss an important e-mail because G-mail thinks it's spam. Thanfully that's very rare.

The computer tech down on the corner strip mall hates Outlook and loves G-mail. I have no problems with Outlook Express and Verizon email once I set up the preferences.

gmail. you set it up to also grab the mail to your regular address, joeschmo@myemail.com and it filters it for you.

set outlook up to grab gmail account and use that.

it will even reply as joeschmo@myemail.com

i need to ditch my yahoo email for gmail.

make the spammers scramble to find me.

Can you use a Gmail email for business ? so let's said, I want to it to be Juan@pelicanparts.com? or it will come our Juan@pelicanpartsgmail.com ?

Keep your current email.

Open a gmail account and set it to fetch mail from your current account

It will filter the spam from your current email and also let you reply as your current address
