The Bus Movie | A documentary film by Damon Ristau

I went to the premiere in a movie theater (old school):eek: last Monday.

Anyway, the parking lot(and then some) was full of mostly Syncro Vans .. the theater full of ahhh.. unique bunch. The movie got my thumbs-up. It was surprisingly well done.

Anyone else see it?

Haven't seen it yet. I'd like to; I just don't know if I'll get an opportunity. Hopefully, it will be on Netflix or some other easily accessible format some day.

I read The Drifters by Michener. A bunch of young people traveling Europe and Africa in a VW poptop.

I loved the GoWesty T-shirt the guy was wearing and the shots from Synchro de Mayo (I think that was what it was).

I need to go over and check out movie theaters in Los Osos. I think I might have seen some California Central Coast shots in there.

Flieger, I too noticed that "Go Westy" shirt the guy in the movie was wearing.

The guy wearing the GoWesty T-shirt was Segis "Lucas" Valdez, founder of GoWesty. Before GoWesty, he restored Porsches in Redwood City with my brother-in-law. He's doing much better with his current gig.

Those other shots were either Syncro de Mayo, or Syncrofest at Hollister Hills. They also had some great shots of a GoWesty employee trip in Baja.
