I need a Bell 206 Pilot ASAP

Our company needs a Bell 206 pilot, Part 135 qualified, ASAP.
The guy we had is leaving us unexpectedly due to some health problems.

And I do mean ASAP..... If you are capable and interested, I need to give the FSDO a name by tomorrow.

Contact me on my work email account macht schnell.

You'll have ~42,000 former Army pilots knocking your door down very soon.

cashflyer 06-07-2012 12:37 PM

At this point, I welcome every one of them.

Does he have to pass checkride?

slodave 06-07-2012 02:57 PM

Not if he has bare feet.

this :-)

I'm currently flying 135 and have 1100 hours in 206s (mostly L3 models), if you were a couple thousand miles closer I'd ring you up...

Do I have time to learn before tomorrow?

HardDrive 06-07-2012 05:29 PM

I'm trying to learn by directly downloading the instructions the way Trinity did in The Matrix. But this USB cord is in as far as it will go, and its not working. Worse yet, the wife is starting to question why I've been in the bathroom so long with my laptop.

I've never flown any aircraft before, but it looks like fun. I'd be happy to fly your Bell 206 or whatever. How hard can it be?

Zeke 06-07-2012 05:57 PM

Exactly. If 3 of us got in there at once, we'd have 3 times the brain power. You do the pedal thingy, I'll do the stick and Super is in charge of that lever at the side of the seat. That makes it go up, right? Where are the keys?

Once you get it in the air it flies like an aircraft, er like a fixed wing aircraft. The takeoff and landing are the challenging parts, particularly the landing. I did the introductory flight and that was enough for me. And way more expensive to learn on than a fixed wing aircraft.

If you guys try to fly together pleeease make sure there is a video camera standing by.

cashflyer 06-08-2012 05:51 AM

Yes... any pilot will have to pass a checkride.

VINMAN 06-08-2012 06:00 AM

I have 23 hrs in a R-22. I'm getting there....

cashflyer 06-08-2012 06:37 AM

I have 10 hours in this 206.
Not quite enough. lol

asphaltgambler 06-08-2012 07:08 AM
