My first truck was a 1948 Chevy.
When I bought it, the seller told me the truck's name was "Lucille", as in "Loose Seal". The 216 c.i. six cylinder engines were notorious for leaking at the rear main seal. The name was very appropriate. I'll try to scan a couple pix later.

There's a reason why 80's japanese trucks are still going. Same with 150s.

I actually changed that song to: "You picked a fine time to break down Lucille"
I don't remember the words I came up with for the rest, but it sure made people laugh when they heard the whole song. That truck never failed to get me to where ever I was going. Didn't get anywhere fast, but it always got me there. 6 cylider with a "three on the tree" is not eggsactly a hot rod set-up.

I've had a lot of Dodge trucks, but the only one I miss is my 1972 Dodge D100 Stepside.
