appears to be retro done correctly...not another camaro or mustang or challenger dealy...those cars simply give (me) the impression that "the design department is officially out of ideas so we're gonna melt an old car onto a new one and call it good." Sorry but from a style perspective, the originals have it all over the new cars. While I understand that there is much more to it than style, they are pinning those cars' success to style.

It isn't retro, it is a rebuilt 60s era car with a modern drivetrain.

Its being sold as a one-off collectors car. Only 50 will be made and they were sold long ago.
I think it is superb, and would love to have one.

I guess if one could live with the nostalgia, should include the retro gremlins.
Went though the era and as cute as the originals were, all were schitz. The little Alfa's and Fiat spiders were far better but the moment I drove a 914 there was no comparison.

It is not a new car, it is a remanufactured old car. I would be willing to guarantee it would have to pass California emissions as a 2012 though.
Very sweet, wonder if what it would cost to get a left hand drive one...
