I get to go fly fishing for the day in the Jemez mountains with no guilt. Should be a nice day.

I issued a rain check to the wife
She's been too busy with the term ending at the U. No need for more pressure on anybody

Byron,
I'm sorry for the loss of your father. You're a good son!

Noah930 06-17-2012 06:16 AM

Gonna go outside and shovel some gravel right now for a landscaping project while the kids are still asleep.

onewhippedpuppy 06-17-2012 06:52 AM

Heading to the lake now.

Oh Haha 06-17-2012 06:59 AM

My wife and kids gave me cards already(7am) and then my daughter and I took the 911 to the office to finish up some paperwork for my vacation next week.

My son gave me the first season of "Hell on Wheels" on DVD. Sweet!!!

In-laws should be here shortly to have lunch.

I am a very lucky man to have such a great family.

Take some flowers to the cemetery and have a talk with my dad, he's been gone since 2001 and I still miss him more than I care to think. After that.....absolutely nothing (except maybe read and take a nap)

I'm building a knock down crane to fit my car hauler so I can pull engines or load cars without wheels on to it using the winch.

I'll be taking it easy recuperating on the couch from my Hernia surgery that I had on Monday. My two kids (22 and 26 years) are both out of town and my Dad is out of town in Niagara Falls in the casino for the weekend with my Mom spending my inheritance! So my wife and I will take it easy and stay at home.

Antler's Lodge, six miles west of Creede,CO on Hwy 149. I'm going out to sight see and will post some pics later in "The Lone Ranger" thread, since I can't post any pics of the Set.

Planning on detailing Dad's DD, but the rain clouds might hold it off for a bit...

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads. I'm going to be making Jamaican Jerk Chicken on the Weber and a mango/ cucumber corn salsa washed down with Negro Modelo.

Here's a pic for you Hugh, Dean-o cruising over Sepulveda pass in his DB4 circa 1964...

Buddy of mine took our dad's to go shoot trap. Always a lot of fun and this time we tried out a new game called 5 stand.

I think I have found another new hobby.

Wash deck, wash patio, wash driveway, wash front of house, change DE in pool filter, vac pool, yard clean up........then go thru 1000 pics my son took in Norway and Italy from a trip he just returned from.........then help my wife as much as I can preparing for my family to come over in a few hours.........then sit down and drink a few beers with my 89 yo dad, wife, son, daughter, my sister, bro in law, my two nieces and their families, three kids and a dog. Oh yeah, then clean up.

Happy Father's Day!
