Done working for the day...mulling whether to buy a 1972 3.0CSI.

I think so. My wife and I looked at it yesterday in NC. She thought it was the coolest looking car she had ever seen.

Needs work, so do I.

Right at this moment I am making home made ice cream. Dad and his date are coming in a bit over an hour. Prime cut steaks, fresh corn on the cob, and asparagus. Desert is the home made ice cream.

Mowed, washed and waxed the DDs, now my wife's making dinner. Looks like the beach trip we'd planned this week is off, my oldest is sick, so we're out the deposit but I'll spend more quality time in the garage I guess. Silver lining.

My Sunday - headed off on a bike ride at 7 AM, bit of a problem 15 miles out, w/ a flat and a non-working CO2 inflator, but did 35 miles before meeting wife and son in downtown Portland to watch a friend in the local Gay Pride parade (waaay more fun to watch than the Rose Parade - zzzz). Afterwards, went to watch a zombies vs survivors cargo bike race (don't ask) and have a beer. 3 PM, at home, blissfully quiet (family out doing stuff), took a nap while "watching " MotoGP Britain. 6:30 PM, went to a friends' house for dinner. 11 PM home in bed. 4:30 AM this morning, up for work :-(

So we did. A teaser, a blue plate special (which I'll keep):

Lots of work to do...it is not in driving shape at all. But I have the space and desire to do this right. I'm thinking four years...about the time Jack graduates and takes the 356
