did you watch AMC, 'the KILLING"?

it was a two season show. simply amazing!! filmed very dark and gloomy. the acting was fantastic, the storyline was dramatic, and the twist and turns throughout the plot had me guessing the entire time.

sad to see it end. i was so happy the actor that plays the dead girl gets some camera time at the end. she was adorable.

anyone else? AMC is hitting some shows outta the park!

Watched and recorded season one (on DVD). Season two is recorded only. Dunno when it'll get watched, but I have it all.

I'm glad to hear you say it has ended... I had heard buzz it might get extended for another season. Some things are better if they don't drag out too long, you know?

Like LOST.

Oh yeah... very dark and gloomy. I know it was set in the PNW, but every single minute of every episode in rain or overcast conditions?

Seriously... gotta love 'em for going for the gloom.

I lost interest about halfway through the first year, but kept watching to the finale to see who did it.

Of course, they didn't resolve that after the first season, and at that point, I was so pissed I stopped watching. I think it had its good points, but it was essentially a one-season show expanded into two - way, way too many dead-ends, false leads, etc.

Last night was pretty heavy at the end there. I knew something more was coming when they "solved the crime" with 40 minutes left in the show. Pretty creative writing - I'll say that much. Just like all the other AMC series....

That ending last night was unreal....what a *****!
