Casey Jones, April 2012 - April 2017.
Got him as an anniversary present for my wife (now ex) so our other dog had a buddy to play with once we had kids. Had my first, a daughter eleven months later :)
He had a great personality and will be sorely missed.

Bill

So sorry for your loss! What a handsome companion. Thy leave way too soon.

Damnit! I meant 2002-2017, crap! Let me edit that out.

Thanks guys, it was time, he had really slowed down.

Oh...when you wrote 2012-17...I took it he was a rescue. No matter. 15 years is a good run!

Thoughts and prayers your way, Bill.....

I'm so sorry Bill. Losing a dog is heart wrenching.

Little dogs aren't macho but they will give you their heart and soul. And who cares what other people think....

Someone is not feeling well......

A DVM visit yesterday PM with fluids, RX, extensive blood work with instructions from the Doc at a tune of $442.00............he has a very expensive stomach ache. [emoji849] had to have gotten into something at the ranch this past weekend. Obvious by what he pushed out yesterday morning on his AM stroll. Looked like something out of Alien.

At least all of his enzyme panels and everything looked great, per our AM follow-up vet call this morning. For a rescue pooch, Lump has cost more than our two Aussie brothers ever did..... even when we had to pull an ER Vet run when they would get into their annual cuddle where one would open the other up requiring stitches.

Ahhhh, pet ownership.

Yo Bugs!

Thanks for asking, man! Just now saw your post with Sir Henry and sorry to hear about his belly ache! Looks like he is on the road to recovery including a new doo, so good for him!

Winks has come a long way. TBH I'm shocked she is doing so well. Hell tonight she actually jumped up on the couch......something she hasn't done in a long time. But at her age, you never know what tomorrow may bring, as all of us know too well, so were taking it one day at a time.

I think one thing that has helped was changing to a no-grain kibble. This is what I have been getting:
Nature's Recipe Grain-Free Salmon, Sweet Potato & Pumpkin Recipe Dry Dog Food

Love the pics of your beloved Aussies. Along with 2 Rotties, my ex-gf has one named "Gunnar' who is still very young. I might be meeting him at some point - we'll see...

I'm going to start grooming Smokey myself starting in a couple of weeks  My wife has been after me to do it to save some money and I told her I wouldn't know where to start. It's a pretty complicated cut. Then I got some 'YouTube training' and it doesn't look too bad. So the plan is to not let him get too shaggy. Because the trick is to know where the transition lines are between short and long hair. We shall see.

Smoked is a handsome looking chap! You are a brave person taking the schnauzer challenge.[emoji6] I've tackled our Aussies and even a few cats at the parents ranch. A Schnauzer cut is something altogether different. I tip my hat to you for giving it a go.[emoji2]

Be sure to post pics of your process. I am a distinguished YouTube University grad myself on a lot of things.

Just told the wife about your venture, she too wants to see your progress. Smoked got the "Awwwwww, he's gorgeous" from the wife[emoji1360] and she loves his colors.

It's funny how Henry's personality changes when he gets his trim.

On a side note, I'm digging your coffee table. Top Gear worthy.

Clearly, Smokey was the real inspiritation behind that advertising, but he's far too interesting to waste his time on commercials.
