Thanks...not mine...belongs to someone in Idaho! Could be a full breed Heeler, IMHO....

It's also possible it is an ASTCD.......(Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog).....

That looks to be a good match. The purebred Blue Heelers look different than the pictures above, but as soon as you mix them they often look more like the two you posted. I’ve got one that’s more of a Red Heeler mix. Awesome dog. Really smart without being too neurotic when not “working”.

We’ve wonder what exactly TRex is. She’s not like other heelers.

Looks like a blue heeler with a longer, fuzzier coat, but otherwise straight up heeler in the looks department. Having only recently become a heeler-mix owner, I was surprised by how independent they are. Unlike other dogs I've had, they prefer to be near you, but not constantly petted/snuggled/otherwise adored. And man do they love a tennis ball. And squirrels.

Bella the Labrador has been coming over to play with our dogs for a few months now. She gets along mostly well with everybody and is even intimidated by one of the cats.

She lives about half a mile a way. We’ve never actually met the people. But have heard through the grapevine that her owners got a new puppy a few weeks ago. Bella’s one hour play visits have turned into 10-12 hour play nap eat nap play visits.

At what point is the dog ours?
